Need cash? This app tells you where your nearest ATM is in Ireland

This could be SO handy to have in your pocket.

EVER STUCK FOR an ATM when you need to take out some cash? Well, this new website and app is trying to solve that conundrum for you.

The Irish ATM Locator maps out cash points across Ireland and Northern Ireland. It’s still in development, but for the major towns it seems to have a pretty good database.

The interface even has helpful little logos to let you know which bank’s ATM it is waiting for you on a particular street.

The creator of the website and app posted it to Reddit Ireland, saying that it’s still in the development phase:

Yep, it’s missing a few towns but it should have most of the main ones. It’s just a bit of a pet project so most updates like that would happen gradually (there are still a portion of atms missing also). I think it should be ok for handling any traffic that comes it’s way, I couldn’t imagine it being a huge issue anyway.

Some ideas suggested to improve the experience were to improve on the logos by having a filter for your own bank’s ATMs and a function for letting you know if certain machines were out of service. It’s also only available as an app on Android – as well as on the main webpage.

Go forth and withdraw at your own convenience.
