The pair made it Insta-official last December, when she came under flack from her fans over Petty’s past criminal history.
The 40-year-old is a registered sex offender in New York and was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree in April 1995. He reportedly served four years in New York state prison. He served 10 months in prison in 2006, too, after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter.

Ed Sheeran’s only gone and named a pub after his new wife, Cherry Seaborn after they secretly tied the knot before Christmas.
Ed is believed to have renamed the drinking hole in the grounds of his Suffolk estate in honour of his mot.
Neighbours can see the 15ft sign, which reads The Lancaster Lock, hanging above the door of the pub, as her full name is Cherry Lancaster Seaborn.
One neighbour told the newspaper: “The pub looks incredible, it’s right in the middle of his estate. It’s every bloke’s dream and he’s obviously decided to get the missus on board by naming it after her.”
The sign is massive, which came as a bit of a surprise, but everyone locally is pleased to have Ed here and he’s always been a perfect neighbour.”

Finally, Felicity Huffman is among more than 40 people charged in a US college cheating scam, according to unsealed court records.
The alleged scheme involved helping students cheat on entrance exams, as well as getting non-athletic students admitted on fake athletic scholarships.
Elite schools Yale, Stanford and Georgetown were among the destination universities.
Felicity and her husband, William H. Macy, allegedly made a charitable contribution of $15,000 to participate in a college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of their eldest daughter. The indictment says the daughter was given twice the amount of time to take the SAT as other students and the paid proctor agreed to secretly correct her answers afterwards.
