Look what this Louth man did to his Nissan Micra

We think it’s cute <3

AH, THE NOBLE Nissan Micra. The most loved of all the starter cars, along with its brethren the Fiat Punto and Volkswagen Golf.

But wait, what’s this?

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you – that’s an even tinier Nissan Micra, or Nissan Micra ‘shorty’, currently for sale for €1000 on DoneDeal.

Ciarán from Co Louth chopped the middle out of the car (28 inches to be exact) and joined it back up to create an oddly cute mini-car. As he says:

Built for a bit of crack.

If you think it wouldn’t be up to scratch on the road, well, just look at him doing donuts around the yard in it.

Unsurprisingly, the Nissan Micra-Micra doesn’t have tax or NCT, because can you imagine rolling up to the NCT centre in this? But Ciarán does suggest it can be used as an “advertising or promotional vehicle”.
