It turns out Paris Hilton is one of the top DJs in the world. How did that happen?
Paper Magazine reports that the socialite earned $2.7 million during a recent four-day residency in Ibiza, which equates to $347,000 an hour. (Or €274,000.) She also regularly performs in places like Vietnam, Abu Dhabi and Atlantic City.
Hilton told Page Six:
I don’t want to be bragging, but it’s great to be paid well for what you love doing.
Yeah no, that doesn’t come as bragging at all, Paris. Delighted for you.
Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t the first choice to host this year’s Oscars. The Hollywood Reporter reports that several other high-profile stars were approached at hosting, but all declined.
Among them? Last year’s host Ellen DeGeneres, comedian Chris Rock and actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Producers reportedly wanted DeGeneres to return after she generated $1 billion worth of publicity with that selfie, but she refused. Attempts to strike a deal with Chris Rock failed, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus declined. Enter Neil Patrick Harris.
We like NPH a lot, but could you even imagine the magic of Julia Louis-Dreyfus doing the Elaine dance at the Oscars?

Bradley Cooper and Jimmy Fallon suffered a severe case of the giggles on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. So severe it lasted for ten minutes in fact.
Cooper was on the show to discuss his role in the Broadway production of The Elephant Man. Unfortunately the pair disintegrated into giggling, breathless messes and couldn’t keep it together.
