WHEN IT COMES to words, Pete Davidson doesn’t mince them.
In a new interview with GQ Magazine, the comedian and Saturday Night Live star admitted that he essentially proposed to his fiancé Ariana Grande on the day they met.
(Just as well that worked out for him, ’cause it would have been mega embarrassing otherwise.)
“The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow,’” Davidson told the magazine.
She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, ‘Do you like any of these?’ She was like, ‘Those are my favourite ones,’ and I was like, ‘Sick.’”
“Sick” is how everyone should respond to a marriage request, TBH.
Davidson also says that the couple has moved into a $16 million Manhattan apartment together, where they are “learning how to be adults.”
Funnily enough, his proposal ties in perfectly with Grande’s prediction that she would marry him three years ago.

When they met on SNL three years ago, Grande admitted she developed “the biggest crush on him” despite not being “a crushy person”. After leaving his writing room, she told her tour manager:
I’m marrying him. 100%.”
And luckily enough, her grandmother Majorie Grande loves him and plans to see his stand-up soon.
