JUST DAYS AFTER he and his partner-in-crime Robin Thicke were officially ruled to have ripped off Marvin Gaye on Blurred Lines and ordered to pay over $7 million in damages, Pharrell has been accused of ripping off yet another Marvin Gaye song.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the family of the late soul singer stated that they feel Happy is a little too similar to the 1965 song Ain’t That Peculiar.

Nona Gaye, Marvin’s daughter, told ET that she thought the songs shared a little DNA.

I’m not going to lie. I do think they sound alike.

The family aren’t the first to notice the similarities.

A few days ago, a mash-up of the two songs appeared online.

Hmm, very curious.

For now, it looks like Pharrell hasn’t anything to worry about as the family confirmed that they don’t want to pursue legal action just yet.

We’re not in that space. We’re just in the moment today and we’re satisfied.

Watch your back, Pharrell.
