RYAN DEAN AND his partner had been trying to start a family for three years. “We thought we couldn’t get pregnant the traditional way,” he wrote.

When they got the good news, they waited until a birthday celebration to tell his parents.

“We have something else coming… but it’s not going to be here until September,” he says. Watch the realisation dawn…

(PS: Their daughter was born on September 24, 2010.)
