People are accusing this US presidential candidate of stealing his logo from Tinder

Awkward.

TODAY, REPUBLICAN SENATOR Rand Paul announced his intention to run for president in 2016.

The Kentucky politician, known for his libertarian ideals, will contest the Republican nomination and says that he is seeking to “return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government”.

His announcement has been slightly overshadowed by one little thing, though — his campaign logo is strikingly similar to the Tinder logo.

Here’s Rand Paul’s logo.

And here’s Tinder’s logo.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Did nobody have the heart to tell him?

As it turns out, Rand Paul isn’t the only presidential hopeful being accused of taking some inspiration from Tinder — fellow candidate Ted Cruz’s campaign logo is also a little flame.

Interesting campaign strategy, guys.
