Get involved in some random acts of kindness

YOU’VE PROBABLY HEARD of the random acts of kindness concept.

The idea is that you do something nice for somebody without expecting anything in return, but the person who has been on the receiving end of that kindness should then do the same for someone else.

It could be anything from buying clothes for a homeless person to paying for a stranger’s bus ticket.

The people of Clonakilty are clearly big fans of the concept as this weekend sees the second Random Acts of Kindness Festival take place.

They promise street performers, kindness zones and drumming workshops and other activities and it seems like it brings plenty of smiles to the town:
