Reading the news? It's a Nazi business (Video)

It was a perfectly ordinary day for this BBC newsreader in Scotland… until she ran into a few technical problems.

THE LIFE OF a newsreader isn’t the easiest. No matter what happens behind the scenes, you’re expected to keep calm and carry on.

So BBC Scotland anchor Catriona Shearer should probably be given full credit for her sanguine response to this bizarre series of technical gaffes during a report last month about Adolf Hitler’s deputy Rudolf Hess, who famously parachuted into Scotland in an attempt to broker peace in May 1941.

First, somebody appears who certainly isn’t Rudolf Hess – and then that weather forecaster certainly seems a bit worked up.
