Director Jim Sheridan’s house on Coliemore Road in Dalkey, Dublin is up for rent for that monthly amount. Sound a bit stiff? For that, you get floor to ceiling views through glass-plated walls over Dalkey Sound and access to a private tidal pool at the seafront.

The house, named ‘Martha’s Vineyard’ by Sheridan and his wife Fran, also features:

The case was settled but Sheridan had claimed that he had been unable to sell the house at a time when it was worth €7m. On this RTÉ Six-One news report in October of last year, Sheridan said it had been a “stressful” situation but that he had had a “good day in court”.
