This Repeal mural by Maser has just gone up in Temple Bar

The mural now sits on the Project Arts Centre.

GET USED TO the word ‘repeal’, because you’ll be seeing it a lot more in the coming months.

We looked earlier in the week at the phenomenon of the REPEAL jumpers that are selling out all over Ireland in aid of the Abortion Rights Campaign, and their effort to call a referendum to repeal the Eight Amendment.

The Eight, of course, acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and equates it with the mother’s right to life.

Further support to the movement came yesterday, when this mural went up outside the Project Arts Centre in Temple Bar yesterday

It’s the work of renowned street artist, Maser, and joint effort between the Project Arts Centre and The Hunreal Issues.

The veteran graffiti artist sprayed the work yesterday afternoon, with just a little help

It’s all part of the movement to get a conversation about the Eight Amendment on the public agenda as a priority.

So, expect to see this shining down at you on any future strolls through Temple Bar.
