One of tonight's Roses seemed to say that Ireland was in the UK and nobody was having it

SPARE A THOUGHT for the Sinead McGahern aka Western Canada.

Earlier this evening, Western Canada was regaling Daithí Ó Sé with tales of her cousins when she made a grave geographical error.

Ladies and gentleman, she implied that Ireland was part of the United Kingdom.

*gasps*

23 first cousins in the UK. Three are currently in England and the other twenty here are in Ireland.

Oh girl, no. That’s not how it works.

Needless to say, her gaffe did not go unnoticed.

We’re willing to give her the benefit of the doubt here. After all, who knows what we might come out with if we were on live television under bright lights?
