IT’S THE PERENNIAL Christmas debate – Roses or Quality Street?
Some are fervently #TeamRoses.
While others have sworn their allegiance to #TeamQualityStreet.
But which seasonal confectionery is winning the supermarket wars this Christmas?
According to Tesco, Cadbury’s Roses have topped chocolate sales between September 1st and November 30th, accounting for 29.3% of sales during that period.
Quality Street is just behind by a sweet wrapper with 29.1% of sales.
Celebrations are in third place with 20.6% and Heroes are in last place with 15%.
Back to the battle at hand, though – just 0.2% separates Cadbury’s Roses and Quality Street at the moment, which is practically a dead tie.
So, which will reign supreme?
Quality Street?
Or Roses?
Only time will tell.
