RUSSELL BRAND HAS been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after a scuffle with a photographer.
The thirty-five year old posted $20,000 bail and was released from LAPD Pacific Division after being charged with a misdemeanour charge of simple battery.
Brand had been travelling through security at LAX airport when the incident occurred. TMZ have a video of the alleged battery.
The photographer staged a citizen’s arrest on Brand after the comedian attacked him. Brand’s fiancée Katy Perry tweeted afterwards “If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me.”
