However, it seems that there is another side to the story.
According to The Independent the man – whose name is Clovis Acosta Fernandes – is a soccer superfan and is well known in Brazil. He’s attended several World Cups and several other tournaments and games.
But take a look at what he did last night when the final whistle was blown on the 7- 1 crushing defeat.
Fernandes turned to a German fan, handed her his trophy and said:
Take it to the final! As you can see, it is not easy, but you deserve it, congratulations.
You’re a winner to us Clovis!
