REJOICE, ALL YOU sarcastic smartasses out there. According to new research by Harvard University, sarcastic people are actually more creative than their super-serious counterparts.
Researchers at the university looked into workplace behaviours, and asked participants to have conversations that were either sarcastic, sincere or neutral in tone.
They of course discovered that sarcasm required more cognitive actions to understand and portray, therefore meaning users were more creative in conversation.
When you think about it, what kind of people fail to get your sarcasm the most? Exactly.
