TENNIS CHAMP SERENA Williams gave birth to daughter Alexis Olympia earlier this month.
She’s been documenting her journey with motherhood online – most recently, she praised the strength of her own mother in an open letter on Reddit.
Serena’s pregnancy was particularly impressive. After she accidentally announced the news on her Snapchat story, people were quick to work out the dates – and realised that she was pregnant when she won the Australian Open in January.

So naturally, our gal decided to pay homage to that victory by incorporating it into her daughter’s name.
“Fun fact my daughters initials are AO as in the Aussie open she won with me @AustralianOpen,” she tweeted.
