SHANE MCGOWAN TURNED the ripe old age of 60 on Christmas Day, and threw an absolute rager of a party on Monday to celebrate.
Johnny Depp (!), Nick Cave, Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream, Glen Hansard, the man himself and many more ah-mazing musicians took to the stage at the National Concert Hall in Dublin to perform some tunes.

Glen Hansard came out for Fairytale Of New York.
Bono was there because it’s Bono, obvs, and dueted with JOHNNY DEPP.

McGowan was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the President, Michael D. Higgins.
The pair embraced each other with a really heartfelt hug with McGowan stating “we’ve met before” to which the President replied “we did, yeah.”
