Irish parents queued up in the wee hours for Frozen dolls... and they sold out almost immediately

The toy has sold out all over the country.

PARENTS HAVE BEEN queuing up around the country since midnight as they attempt to purchase the enormously popular Frozen Snow Glow Elsa.

Smyths took in limited stock of the toy today and people commenced queuing in the wee hours.

It seems to have got rather nasty in places.

Some queues weren’t even really respected.

As expected, the toy quickly sold out and is currently unavailable.

For their part, Smyths apologised for any inconvenience and upset caused.

The toy, which retails for €44.99, has been spotted for sale on the likes of Adverts.ie and Done Deal for €100.

Some unsuccessful parents are remaining resolute in their quest to track down the elusive Snow Glow Elsa, though, as stock is expected again in mid-December.
