REVELLERS making their way to Stradbally for the second day of the Electric Picnic festival are advised to scrap their plans for bringing sun-tan lotion and instead to stock up on wellington boots – it’s rained heavily on the site overnight and what was a summery wonderland has now turned considerably muddier. Last night’s headliners, Roxy Music, were apparently great. John Lydon must not have been too happy with his PiL crowd last night – the Irish Times’ Jim Carroll reports that Lydon was spotted in Dublin Airport fleeing the country this morning.
