Ding ding! Jackpot!

Streaker bares all to Obama - and prepares for $1m payout

Juan Rodriguez may get more than a mild wind chill after baring all to the commander-in-chief on Sunday.

A MAN WHO streaked naked at a political rally on Sunday – in full view of President Barack Obama – may be rewarded with $1m for his efforts, it is claimed.

The Daily Telegraph says Juan Rodriguez (24) from Staten Island in New York was in the crowd during a Democratic get-out-the-vote rally on Sunday, led by the President ahead of next month’s mid-term elections – until he emerged from it totally naked.

Rodriguez was charged with indecent exposure and was bailed yesterday.

It has emerged, however, that rather than being a political opponent or someone simply trying to grab some attention, Rodriguez was actually taking part in a strip-for-cash challenge being run by a British billionaire.

Alki David, who runs the website battlecam.com, offers cash prizes to people who perform ludicrous stunts in order to promote the website. For example, it has already paid $1,500 to more than 100 people who have had the website address tattooed on them in 6-inch-high lettering.

If David was able to fulfil the terms of the website’s ultimate challenge – to be noticed by the president, and to be close enough so that Obama could hear him shout the website’s name six times – then he will be the first person to benefit from the $1m (€722,000) jackpot award.

David – who is listed at number 45 on the Sunday Times’ rich list – said he was “looking forward to presenting him with a big bag of cash” and that he was merely awaiting confirmation from the Greek Embassy that Obama had heard or seen the streak before paying out.

“I’ve nothing against Obama himself – it’s just we knew this stunt would attract so much publicity if it was with the President.”

Rodriguez will share the money with four other people, including his girlfriend, if he is deemed successful.
