McDonald's are trialling sweet potato fries, so get excited

Sweet potatoing JESUS.

MCDONALD’S, IN A struggle to stay relevant, keep throwing artisan items at us. The McMór, smashed avocado and wilted spinach breakfasts… what’s next?

Sweet potato fries, it seems.

The fast food giant have began rolling out the alarmingly orange chips in Texas and they look pretty delicious.

A spokesperson for McDonald’s confirmed to Eater.com that the side was legit and they’re now “gathering valuable customer feedback on them”.

They previously released sweet potato wedges in Australia but didn’t roll them out globally, so fingers crossed the Texans pull through for us.
