Yesterday the Pennsylvania native took to Twitter to make a simple request of Taylor Swift — to recreate this childhood photo.
Yes, that is a very young Taylor Swift.
Hauk explained that he did children’s community theatre with Swift in their hometown, and starred alongside her in a production of Bye, Bye, Birdie.
This is not the first time Hauk has dropped her name. Back in 2009, he blew the lid on the “Christmas tree farm” myth.
Damn.
While Swift has yet to acknowledge Hauk’s request — we imagine she’s either silently cursing him or strategising how best to make this a viral sensation — the internet seems pretty hellbent on making the reunion happen.
