What to watch on TV this weekend

The Ray D’Arcy Show (RTE 1, 9.50pm) Stormy Daniels is on tonight, so if you want to endorse that, go ahead. 

Jonathan Ross Show (Virgin Media Two, 11.15pm) Perhaps a better option, Jonathan is joined by Cliff Richard, Jeff Goldblum, Katherine Ryan, and former GBBO winner Nadiya Hussain. Snow Patrol will perform. 

Ireland v New Zealand (RTE 2, 6pm) All the action from the Aviva Stadium.

I’m a Celeb (Virgin Media One, 9pm) The brand new series kicks off tonight. Holly Willoughby is joining Dec as a cohost, and the line up is looking pretty promising so far. 

Taken Down (RTE 1, 9.30pm) The Irish crime drama continues. Abeni is afraid of the people in charge of the brothel, while Flora escapes from her care home. 

Lone Survivor (RTE 2, 9pm) War film depicting the real life Navy Seal operation in Afghanistan. In 2005, when Taliban leader Ahmad Shah kills 20 US Marines, four navy seals track his movements.

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC 1, 6.45pm) It’s the Blackpool show. 

Bad Neighbours 2 (Channel 4, 9.15pm) A couple get sick of the sorority living next door to them so invite Zac Efron to come scare them off. 

The X Factor (Virgin Media One, 8.10pm) The fifth live show. 

Celebrity Juice (Virgin Media Two, 10pm) Guests include Johnny Vegas, and Rochelle and Marvin Humes. 


Daniel and Majella’s B+B Road Trip (RTE 1, 7.30pm) No, seriously, the couple are going to Derry this weekend.

Louis Theroux’s Altered States, Choosing Death (BBC 2, 9pm) Louis spends time with people preparing to end their lives with legal overdoses. 

Doctor Who (BBC 1, 6.30pm) Still going. 

The Interrogation of Tony Martin (Channel 4, 9pm) Reconstruction of the events of a night in 1999 when a Norfolk farmer shot intruders and divided opinion. 

Eight Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4, 11pm) Guests include Alan Carr and Kevin Bridges.
