A LOT OF women dream about the day they’ll be presented with a beautiful diamond ring, with the love of their life on bended knee.
But a lot of women prefer things to be slightly more… alternative.
California couple Carlee Leifkes and Lucas Unger certainly fit into this category. When Unger proposed on Halloween, he did it with a ring consisting of his wisdom tooth in lieu of a diamond.
Alternative, but Carlee loved it. She wrote on Facebook:
So incredibly excited to marry my best friend, the man who knows that his wisdom tooth means more to me than a diamond. Can’t wait to be a weirdo with you and dance our way through life to Thee Oh Sees and Black Sabbath. We have never been the “traditional couple”, why the heck start now?
The couple planned the ring together, and Carlee told Buzzfeed she thought diamonds are so overrated, and she didn’t need one to prove how much Lucas loves her.
They got the ring from Lucas’ dad who had saved it after he had the wisdom tooth removed when he was younger.
The couple plan to marry in Vegas later this year, with Elvis officiating the whole thing.
