What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

The Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 11.05pm)

Oscar-winning Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey talks about his new crime drama White Boy Rick, while professional wrestler and actor John Cena discusses his starring role in new sci-fi action film Bumblebee, and TV chef Jamie Oliver talks about the publication of his latest books Jamie Cooks Italy and Jamie’s Friday Night Feast. With music by Mark Ronson featuring Miley Cyrus, who perform the single Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.

Rocky II (RTÉ Two, 9.30pm)

Philadelphia boxer Rocky Balboa quits the ring to marry his sweetheart and become a father. However, times prove hard and money is tight, so when Balboa is offered another shot at Apollo Creed’s heavyweight title, the fighter is lured out of retirement. Drama sequel, starring Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Carl Weathers, Burt Young and Burgess Meredith.

The Late Late Show 

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar leads a Late Late Show line-up including music superstar Michael Buble, country king Daniel O’Donnell and comedian and author David Walliams. Plus, the final three celebrities who’ll be “tripping the light fantastic” across the Dancing With The Stars ballroom floor will be revealed.
