What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Celebrity Operation Transformation (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

It’s over? Already?! Yep – tonight we’ll find out the final weigh-ins of leaders Mary Byrne, Triona McCarthy, Gary O’Hanlon, James Patrice and Kayleigh Cullinan. Their fitness levels will also be put to the test – but who’ll come out on top after a month of training?

Gogglebox Ireland (TV3, 9.00pm)

The addition of the lads from Louth proved a hit last week, and now there’s another new household joining the show. Siobhan and Pat are from Dublin, and have been together for 25 years after meeting at the National Museum, where Pat worked for more than 40 years. The couple have two gorgeous dogs – brother and sister Misto and Daze, who will be front of camera most of the time too.

Billion Dollar Deals And How They Changed Your World (BBC2, 8.00pm)

This new three-part series looks at changes in the world that resulted from largely unknown people and events. Tonight’s episode looks at the deals that have transformed the way we talk about and treat mental health, and how medication became part of the modern world.  The programme takes a look at ADHD in children, how GPs diagnose depression in adults, the American prescription drug industry, the growing cost of drugs in the NHS, as well as substance abuse issues.

Everyone's talking about: Paul Hollywood

No, he's not donning a grossly offensive costume (again) - fans reckon he's dishing out too many handshakes on this series of The Great British Bake-Off.
