DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.
The Crystal Maze: Celebrity Christmas Special (Channel 4, 9pm)
Richard Ayoade hosts the game show, inviting the Saturdays and Strictly star Mollie King, gold medal-winning athletes Ellie Simmonds and Nicola Adams, Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and Murder In Successville comedian Tom Davis to take his golden hand and tackle a number of physical, skill, mystery and mental challenges. Hopefully someone gets stuck on a rope or falls into a pit, as usual. But you won’t feel bad laughing, because they’re all there to raise money for Stand Up for Cancer.
Michael Bublé’s Christmas in Hollywood (TV3, 10pm)
The Canadian crooner’s fifth festive special sees him take to the stage of the Orpheus Theatre in Los Angeles, with guest appearances by Celine Dion, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, and Tori Kelly. Every year his holiday special confirms that he’s definitely out of his snowy cave for the Christmas season.
Don’t Tell the Bride (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)
Cork couple Gerard O’Dea and Ciara Murphy have been in a relationship for eight years and have three children together, but the bride-to-be is worried that her fiance will not take planning their wedding day seriously enough. Gerard is determined that the celebrations will be as much for him as they are for her, even if it means adding a touch of his work as a paramedic to the day. However, he also tries to pull off the surprise of his life by incorporating elements from her favourite film, Dirty Dancing. This will definitely end well.
