What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Bridget and Eamon (RTE 2, 10pm)

The much anticipated comedy spin-off from Republic of Telly finally hits our screens tonight. Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O’Shea are our 1980s-based heroes that are set to get up to all sorts of nostalgic antics. It’s rare that we get a new homegrown sitcom here, so let’s see how this one plays out. #BridgetAndEamon

The Undateables: Wedding Bells (Channel 4, 9pm)

The last episode in the current series takes a look at the most successful people who have ever featured on the show – so much so that they are set to tie the knot all thanks to The Undateables. This is all set to be a very happy ending. #TheUndateables

Life Before the Rising (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

This documentary delves into what was happening in the lives of Irish people in the years leading up to the Easter Rising. For the year that’s in it, we can get used to more 1916-related stuff on the telly – and for anyone with even a passing interest in history, it’s like Christmas all year round. #LifeBeforeTheRising

Everybody’s talking about… the fact that tomorrow is Groundhog Day

And Sky Comedy has chosen to celebrate the occasion in the best way possible:

Excellent.

Just don’t try and watch them all in one go.

  • Snow White & The Huntsman (Film4 9pm) Not the worst fantasy adventure for a Monday night.
  • Baz’s Extreme Worlds (RTÉ 2, 10.30pm) Baz Ashmawy immerses himself in Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
  • The Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 11:50pm) Catch Will Smith, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Ryan Reynolds as they join Graham on the couch – in case you missed it on Friday.
