U2 are not playing One on their latest tour and fans are perplexed

It’s the first time the band haven’t performed the song since it was released.

LAST NIGHT, U2 kicked off their world tour in Vancouver.

The tour got off to quite a raucous start with The Edge seemingly forgetting that he has yet to be gifted with the powers of flight and falling off stage at one point.

The gig was notable for another reason, though.

They didn’t play One.

One!

A U2 fansite has claimed that it’s the first time in the song’s history that it hasn’t been played on tour.

People were floored at the exclusion of the band’s iconic anthem from the set list.

There was a lot of denial.

People made attempts to rationalise the decision.

And ultimately there was heartbreak.

Seriously, do they not realise it’s a good song?

People are concerned for the future.

The band previously announced that they will play three gigs in Dublin this Christmas — what if they don’t play One?
