THE TRAILER FOR the next film based on comic book hero Spider-Man has been released.
The latest incarnation follows in the footsteps of the Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst-led Spider-Man which was released a decade ago in showing Peter Parker’s discovery of his new ‘skills’.
Andrew Garfield of The Social Network takes over Maguire’s role as Parker, while The Help star Emma Stone plays his love interest. Rhys Ifans plays the villain, as the Lizard.
The film also stars screen legends Martin Sheen and Sally Field, and upholds a tradition of Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee cameos.
