VIDEO FOOTAGE HAS emerged that appears to show Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan may not have stolen a $2,500 gold necklace.
TMZ has obtained a video that shows Lohan, who denies stealing the necklace, in the Kamofie & Company store.
There is no audio on the tape but TMZ reports:
Lindsay never took the necklace off, according to our sources, and she wore it in plain view for the next 45 minutes while she tried on several rings. According to our sources, before walking out of the store, Lindsay put her own necklace back on, but it in no way obstructed the store’s necklace.
Lohan faces significant time in jail if convicted for stealing the expensive necklace, according to US legal experts.
Lohan denies the charges. She is currently on probation for a drink driving conviction and if found guilty, the LA Times reports that the troubled actress could face a spell behind bars.
