BE WARNED: DON’T watch if you’re afraid of heights.
This Chinese tightrope walker somehow escaped with minor injuries after falling from a highwire 200 metres above the ground, as he attempted to cross a ravine backwards and blindfolded.
The sixth-generation performer had almost reached the end of the 700 metre walk when he lost his footing and fell to the bottom of the ravine. State television reports that he suffered only minor injuries. Still though: that had to hurt.
