Watch: Amy Winehouse's shambolic performance in Serbia

The troubled singer was booed off stage in Serbia last night.

POOR OLD AMY Winehouse looked a little worse for wear on stage in Serbia last night where her near 90-minute performance was booed by crowds who had come to see her kick off her 12-day European tour.

BBC News reports that some 20,000 fans descended on the venue in the capital Belgrade but were less than pleased to see the British singer mumble her way through parts of songs and stumble across the stage.

At times she left the stage completely, leaving her band to fill in. When she did sing, her notes were strained and she failed to follow her band who smiled as best they could but were clearly uncomfortable with the debacle.

AFP quotes one concert goer as being less than pleased. Bojan Petrovic, a 35-year old teacher from the southern Serbian town of Nis said:

I paid my weekly salary, €38 for this concert and I knew of her troubles, but the organisers should have cancelled it to let us, her fans, remember the real Amy.

Winehouse ended an alcohol rehabilitation programme in London two weeks ago and it was reported that alcohol had been banned for the tour.

But the troubled soul star did not look in great shape on stage last night. Watch:
