DUBLIN DONUT SHOP Aungier Danger announced a surprising addition to their menu for one day only earlier: The Marijuana Donut.
As they said in their Facebook post revealing it this morning, the donut is strictly for over 18s and the ingredients include:
peanut butter oreo smash with a very special secret ingredient
Hmm, an intriguing lack of a direct mention for the supposed key ingredient.
So we went out and got a couple ourselves

When pressed, the key ingredient still wasn’t revealed to DailyEdge.ie but the reason they were made was stated explicitly on Facebook:
For the guys at the Dublin summit discussing the legalisation of medicinal #Marijuana… This is for you…
On first taste, they resembled any other donut in their sweet and sugary taste
But one taster definitely got a bit of a kick from the cream inside:
It just tastes a little different but who knows if it’s weed? There is something different in there though.
The donuts sold out within two hours this morning – as there was a limited supply.
Whatever it was that was in them, it went down well with the customers
A brave new world.
