AFTER EIGHT YEARS, Westlife fans were satiated today with the release of their new single, ‘Hello My Love’.
Brace yourself, it’s a #banjobanger.

The single cover also acts as a good demonstration on power posing, hot air balloon optional.
Co-written by Ed Sheeran, this is a fairly upbeat comeback statement from the lads, clocking in at 128 bpm – the same as past hit ‘Uptown Girl’ and the criminally underrated ‘Bop Bop Baby’.
Right so, what’s the verdict?
The Official Charts Company described ‘Hello, My Love’ as sounding like a combination of Jess Glynne’s ‘All I Am’ and Sheeran’s ‘Castle On The Hill’. It makes sense, given Sheeran’s involvement as well as long-time Glynne producer Steve Mac.
You’d know straight away from the lyrics that Sheero was sniffing around the studio at the time – “You could have someone without a belly or a temper / Perfect teeth, hair growing where it’s meant to”.
Hmmm. Sound familar? I’ll just leave this Ed Sheeran-penned One Direction song here …
