Redwater (RTE One, 9.30pm)

A brand new Eastenders spin-off following Kat and Alfie Moon as they try to find Kat’s son, Luke, who was given up for adoption to an Irish family 32 years ago. Portions of the series were filmed in Wicklow and Waterford so brace yourself for some familiar sights. #redwater

British Academy Television Awards (BBC One, 8pm)

Sue Perkins hosts the BAFTA Television Awards tonight. The Crown, Happy Valley, The Night Manager and Fleabag are among the nominees.

The Zoo (RTE One, 6.30pm)

Everyone’s talking about… 2 Broke Girls

The long-running sitcom has been canceled after six seasons.

2 Broke Girls starred Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs as two gals trying to strike gold with cupcakes. Following the news of the cancellation, Kat Dennings posted this rather sweet note on Instagram:
