A WOMAN HAS been fined after bringing her horse into a McDonalds restaurant in the UK, where it defecated on the floor.

The woman first rode her horse to the drive-thru window of the outlet on Manchester’s Fountain Place, where staff refused to serve her. She then took the animal into the restaurant itself.

“[He] ended up doing his business on the floor,” a spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Police said, continuing:

The sight and smell of this caused obvious distress and upset to customers trying to eat, as well as staff members.

Restaurant staff called police, who arrived and issued the rider with a fixed fine for “causing alarm and distress”.

The initial decision not to serve the woman at the drive-thru was based on company policy, according to the police statement.
