This Sligo woman's Halloween Yoda transformation is absolutely brilliant

Amazing this is.

PREPARE TO FEEL a deep shame at your crappy excuse for a Halloween costume.

Sligo woman Lisa Cannon completely transformed herself into Star Wars’ Yoda and it’s AMAZING

Yoda, she is.

The idea was born from “spending way too much time looking at MUAs and bloggers on Youtube and Pinterest for ideas”, Lisa says.

I saw a version of Yoda and thought it looked like fun. I got a wig cap, I formed ears out of tinfoil, covered them in masking tape, and painted them.

She told DailyEdge.ie that she then mixed the right ‘Yoda’ colour to the face paint, attached them to her hair, and then put under the wig cap.

I painted my face with facepaint and eyeshadow, going up and over the cap to blend it in.

It turned out brilliantly

But how did she get his head to look so small?

Yoda’s mouth was at the bottom of my nose and his nose painted on half way up my own nose. Below that was black to create the illusion of a short face.

Here’s what the process looked like step-by-step

She used one of her husband’s brown t-shirts to make a sort of poloneck to go over her chin, which you can see in action here:

All that was needed then was an old sheet for the cloak.

Until May the 4th…
