And now SZA has come out with arguably her most visually gorgeous video yet, featuring none other than man of the moment, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino.
The dreamy and steamy video for Garden (Say It Like Dat) has SZA in a Garden of Eden type paradise, singing about cautiously opening up emotionally to someone else, as her and Donald make googley-eyes at each other.
The blurred camera, which sways seductively as it films the stunning SZA, makes you feel like you’re in a sunset dreamland.
In another beautiful setting, SZA shows off her Gymnastics background as she dances barefoot (in a short dusty-pink off the shoulder dress that she’s sure to catch her death of cold in) as white foamy waves lap gently in the background.
Donald Glover is the Adam to SZA’s Eve as we catch glimpses of him in the luscious green forest.
Is it too much to hope that I’ll find him at Body & Soul this year, hanging out behind some trees?
Oh! SZA’s mama also makes an appearance in the video, as we hear her grandmother speak some words of wisdom at the end of the song.
