Zelda Williams returns to Twitter, responds to bullies with inspiring message

The daughter of the late Robin Williams quit social media after her father’s death.

FOLLOWING THE DEATH of her father, Robin Williams’ daughter Zelda Williams posted this poignant tweet.

However, after being subject to bullying and relentless trolling in the hours and days following her father’s death, she quit social media.

Last night, she returned to Twitter and shared an inspiring message aimed squarely at those who taunted her online.

The tweet linked to the following 2012 post on her Tumblr and is a quote from Harvey Fierstein, who you may know as Robin Williams’ co-star in Mrs. Doubtfire.

Her return has been warmly embraced by fans on Twitter.
