It looks like Ed Sheeran will be embarking on a European tour soon. The singer told MTV that he’ll be kicking off his tour in March after the release of his new album.

March. Pretty soon after the album. I don’t know when we’re coming with dates but I know we’re coming with dates soon. I definitely know it’s starts in March, in Europe.

Might a Dublin date be on the cards? Well, there is a date free in Croke Park…

Michael Flatley has broken his silence about his intention to perform at Donald Trump#s inauguration. The self-proclaimed Lord of the Dance told the Irish Independent that it was a “great honour” to be asked to perform, but that he would not be dancing himself.

Instead, he will introduce the other dancers in his company.

We have performed for many presidents. It is always a great honour to be asked.

Meanwhile, Gerald Kean, who dated Flatley’s ex Lisa Murphy, has weighed in. Kean told The Sun that he has no issue with Flatley’s decision to perform.

I’ve no problem with it whatsoever. More power to him I say. I wouldn’t be a fan of Donald Trump at all and I certainly didn’t think he’d get this far but there’s no controversy in him performing for me.

And finally, Riverdance are continuing to distance themselves from Flatley.

Got that?

And the rest of the day’s dirt…
