US teenager Juliet Jacoby had her prom coming up this week and she spotted a dress she really liked for it

Her mam found the exact same dress listed on RoseGal.com for a better price – so she ordered it, and two weeks later it arrived.
But it was absolutely nothing like the picture
Buyer beware and all that.
Since she tweeted the pictures out, the internet just can’t get over how comically awful the dress is compared to the original.
She told Seventeen that her prom was only one week away, but she still saw the funny side:
I waited in front of the garage door to see what my mom’s reaction was, and all she did was stand there with the most shocked face for about five seconds, then burst out laughing.

She confirmed to Seventeen that she did get a dress for the prom in the end – but she’ll be steering clear of online shops in the future.
Probably for the best.
