YESTERDAY, UK RETAILER John Lewis released its annual tear-jerking Christmas ad, starring Monty the Penguin.

The debut of the ad is a time of great joy for many, but spare a thought for John Lewis of Virginia, USA – who happens to own the Twitter handle @johnlewis.

Every year, he must deal with an onslaught of tweets from people who mean to mention the official John Lewis account, @johnlewisretail. Luckily, he’s a brilliant sport.
