LOOK, IT’S NO secret that everyone wants to be Rihanna’s mate. She’s a ton of fun, yes – but she also appears to be a great shoulder to cry on.

There was the time she helped a fan to come out as gay over Twitter DM:

The best sh*t ever is freedom and peace within yourself! Your family may not understand, but luckily you live in a generation that does… And not to mention the community here amongst us, we will hold you down boo!

And now, helping out a fan who wanted to know how to get over his first heartbreak.

The fan told Buzzfeed that he’s been struggling since his first relationship ended in January, and thought of asking Rihanna for advice because “she’s wise ‘n sh*t”.

So he DMed her on Twitter and a few hours later, she responded with a short but perfect piece of wisdom:

Just believe that the heartbreak was a gift in itself! Cry if you have to, but it won’t be forever! You will find love again, and it will be even more beautiful! In the meantime enjoy all that YOU are!

Heartbreak as a gift! Enjoy all that you are! It’s not every day you get such sound advice from a superstar. God bless Rih <3
