50 Cent Dundrum visit cancelled after autism remarks
AMERICAN RAPPER 50 Cent was due to visit Dundrum Town Centre tomorrow – but his appearance has been cancelled following complaints about remarks he made on Twitter.
The musician was due to visit Dundrum’s Carphone Warehouse store to launch his exclusive SMS audio headsets range.
He was due to meet fans and sign his range of headphones and there were 500 wristbands available for those interested.
However, the award-winning American made comments related to autism on Twitter that drew complaints from fans, including Irish fans who made their feelings known on the Dundrum Town Centre Facebook page.
While the comments have since been deleted, 50 Cent apologised, saying:
