JUDY BLIME’S CLASSIC young adult novel Are You There God It’s Me Margaret was first published in 1970, and looked something like this:
The book, a number one bestseller deals with the issues of religion, puberty (notably bras and periods), attraction and friendship.
It’s still a big seller today and obviously the cover art has moved with the times.
