People are very tickled by the latest things being passed off as 'jeans' on ASOS

Christina Aguilera called! She wants her pants back.

REMEMBER IN 2002 when Christina Aguilera released Dirrrty and shocked the world by cavorting in various pairs of leather chaps?

Yeah, we’re revisiting that fashion moment again.

People browsing ASOS recently have spotted something interesting in the jeans section – a pair of denim chaps by the brand The Ragged Priest:

The pants have been causing no end of bafflement, especially when they’ve been served to people in social media ads:

“Don’t forget these!” We certainly won’t, Facebook.

Are we all being Punk’d, somehow? It’s entirely possible.

Sadly, the jeans have now disappeared from the ASOS website, meaning if you are truly in love with them you won’t be able to buy them. Truly the year’s first tragedy.

However, you needn’t fret if you have your heart set on a pair of mad denims, because Topshop are selling ‘fake news’ jeans.

How does this work, you may be wondering. Well…

Stunning, and the perfect thing to go with your ‘covfefe’ crop top. If what we’ve seen so far is anything to go by, 2018 is going to be a great year for fashion.
