LAST NIGHT, THE very charming documentary Older Than Ireland aired on RTÉ One.
The documentary featured thirty Irish centenarians sharing memories, insights and nuggets of wisdom, and viewers at home fell head over heels for them.
But one lady proved especially captivating for people at home.
And that would be Bessie.

The 104-year-old from Drimnagh charmed everyone with her incredible style and hilarious one-liners.
People just couldn’t get enough of her.
Or her take on one of the girls in the shops
“I’d love to wash her.”
